Steps to clean the air conditioner

  • Check if the air conditioner is functioning properly.
  • Suck out the condensation water and lock the condensation drain valve.
  • Close the circuit breaker to cut off power supply.
  • Remove the cover or mask of the air conditioner to clean the cooling coil with a pressure water gun. Use plastic sheets to prevent water splashes from hitting the walls and furniture.
  • Remove the filter and fan blade to clean them.
  • Use an air blower to blow dry all components and equipment until completely dry, then reassemble them.
  • Vacuum the condensation drain pipe to prevent clogging.
  • Conduct a 15-minute vacuum test to check for refrigerant leaks in the pipes.
  • Check the cooling temperature (before reinstalling the air conditioner mask).
  • Check the control panel and machine operation by testing various remote control commands and then turning off the machine again.
  • Clean and reassemble the mask and machine.
  • Clean the external hot coil.
  • Check the grounding wire to prevent electrical short circuits.
  • Inspect the various wire connections to prevent electrical short circuits.
  • Leave the air conditioner running for 15 minutes.
  • Check the refrigerant levels to ensure there are no leaks.

Steps to install the air conditioner

  1. The technician will inspect the room where the air conditioner is to be installed to assess the suitability for installing the cooling coil or the outdoor air conditioning unit.
  2. After determining the exact location, the technician will clear the area for convenient installation.
  3. The method of installing a wall mounted or wall type domestic air conditioner is to insert dowels into the wall and then secure the plate with threaded nuts. This is because the plate is responsible for supporting the weight of the entire evaporator coil set. Therefore, it must be tightened first.
  4. A hole of approximately 2 inches in diameter is then drilled in the wall using a drill. To insert the solution pipe Drain pipes and electrical wires connecting the cold and hot coils
  5. Connect the electrical wires and air conditioner pipes, then connect the electrical wires between the cooling coil and the hot coil.
  6. Install pipe cover rails and air conditioning refrigerant pipes for internal work. Then install the cover rails and various pipes outside, then hang the cooling coil on the panel. The method for installing an indoor air conditioner is complete.
  7. Lay the refrigerant pipe of the air conditioner, which will be made of copper. When installing the air conditioner at this point in the house, be careful not to allow dust to clog the pipes, which may cause the air conditioner to fail in the future.
  8. Install the hot coil hanger and place the hot coil on the hanger. If you don't use a hanging stand, you can place it on the floor. Rubber feet are provided to support the hot coil.
  9. Weld copper pipes and cladding and connect electrical systems.
  10. Perform a leak test and create a vacuum by running vacuum for about 15-30 minutes, then move on to work on other parts.
  11. Switch on the air conditioning system Measure the fluid pressure to check the normal operation of the air conditioning system.
